Brand Refresh
Not everything calls for a rebrand. Sometimes you just need a little refreshing.
While many small businesses claim to rebrand, the truth is that most are only refreshing. Wait, what's the difference between a refresh and a rebrand? The difference is in the purpose and the actions. The purpose of a refresh is to update and replace the previous aesthetic with up-to-date or improved visual elements. This often includes new colors, a new logo, new labeling/ packaging, etc. Refreshes often occur when one wants to modernize or update their brand to fit their desired look. A rebrand, on the other hand, dives deeper than visual elements. The purpose of a rebrand is to recreate or redefine the brand's identity. This often includes a change in mission/vision, target audience, core values, etc. Rebrands often occur when a brand's reputation has been damaged or simply doesn't align with where it is today.
